We need a night service between Birmingham City Centre and Moseley/King’s Heath. Taxis are expensive and we’re fed up of going home before midnight when there is a thriving night scene outside of the City Centre. Also those of us in Moseley and King’s Heath who like to party in town are having the same problem. This is meant to be a CITY!!

Exasperated managers at National Express West Midlands have said they will withdraw the 35 service through Kings Heath if deep potholes and cracks in Allens Croft Road are not filled in.
Location of Sighting: Drayton Road, Kings Heath. Birmingham. Date of Sighting: 27/8/2010 Time: Around 9.45pm Witness Name: John Lapworth
Highbury Park - Mystery of the Shattered Bricks
Something did considerable damage to one end of the Henbury Garden wall this past Sunday.
This is a follow on to the previous post about B-Mail’s photo for ‘ultralocal’ coverage of King’s Heath. Much as I like the fact that it’s of Highbury entrance, it’s just not representative of da Heath, so I went out and did my own interpretation on that theme.
Top photo, combo of congestion at York Road and the awesome spires atop the adjacent buildings.
Middle photo, congestion (natch) and that long view northward along the only stretch that’s got (nice) buildings fronting both sides o’ the road.
Bottom photo, no congestion, and a more open aspect.
If you have an idea about a representative KH street scene, let’s see it.
Separate local page on the Mail site, not the most representative photo tbh…
