223-365 year2 How Much Did You Say (by John Garghan
)
Take a photo every day in 2010I’m doing some heavy duty pruning of over hanging bushes and needed my secateurs sharpened. When I collected them I was shocked at the price of only £2.50, its not the sort of job you do regular so I really had no idea what I would pay but would of expected to pay at least double that. So I decided the shop keeper deserved some publicity and as I’m taking the photo his mate over the road was shout what about me. His shop was a mini Mothercare so I shant be needing his services. Kings Heath DIY is on Alcester Lanes End on the crossroads with Taylor Road

Asda Kings Heath is launching a search for the best local produce in the West Midlands to celebrate the many mouth-watering delights the area has to offer.

The team at the Kings Heath High Street store are asking local suppliers who’d like to tickle local taste buds with their wares, to step forward and let them know what they have to offer.

the opening titles of Childrens’ ITV ‘classic’ Woof! (plot: boy turns into dog at inopportune moments — Billy’s Boots with more fleas) are set in luscious King’s Heath. The dog wanders down the High Street and surprises a vicar who’s hanging around the toilets on the corner of Vicarage Road. Also the setting for this classic bit of filming.

Short haired Ginger and White neutered male cat 5 years old. Average sized head, large- bulbous body. Mostly Ginger with white chest and paws and lower face. Responds to Leo, and sometimes Fatboy. Last seen on Monday night - 19th July - towards the back of Heathfield Road. Leo was spooked by a strange dog, but it is highly unusual for him not to have returned. We haven’t really thought about rewards but we are desperate to have him home and will discuss this if you have any information or sightings of him.
